I've been eager to get out of my room and due to the lack of opportunities I was giving up, but now, not only with all the knowledge Alma shared which was pure gold I've connected with the other students and trying to build a community out of this mentorship. 10/10

I felt Alma’s approach to this course was really helpful and inspiring. She listened to all of our individual situations and tailored the sessions to what she believed would be most most helpful for all of us. I honestly felt a great humility and genuine desire to help from Alma.

The best thing about this mentorship is the feeling that you have just joined a community of people that are still there "doing it" after 30 + years. What that means is that you're actually interacting with professionals and not some random youtuber or influencer who spits out random bullshit. Any question you ask will be answered. You will be listened to and the advice will be given. Alma is very caring and she wants you to be successful in whatever path of the electronic music industry you want to follow. Bringing a world class artist every week for interviews was a cherry on top. I never thought I would get to talk to Ame, Ian Pooley and a plethora of other top tier electronic music artists. You will make forever friends with class participants. Let that sink in... Now, the so-so aspects of the course itself. First thing that can be improved is scheduling and reminders. I think it would be helpful to have some sort of automated system that sends notification/emails at least 3 times before the session. 2 days , 1 day and 6 hrs before the start of the class would be ideal. Participants are from all over the world in different time zones with busy lives. One email a few hrs before the session won't do. Although I guess when you go to school no one sends you notifications., so maybe that's on me. Secondly, depending on the individual, you might like or think it's a waste of time as some classes felt a bit "unstructured" and  "off the script" with less useful information but more of a storytelling. At times it would work but if you're here strictly for a structured knowledge transfer it might not be for you. It does feel like you're hanging out with friends listening to stories. Might or might not be your vibe. Lastly I know Alma was short handed on the help, but some support emails were answered with a big delay. I missed few classes (totally on me - life you know) but needed a recording of the session before the next one so I can catch up. And sometimes I wouldnt get it or maybe get it after the next session. I think this could be easily fixed if all the sessions were available to us in our web accounts. After the course you will be a part of the community via discord and or telegram. Alma tries to check-in weekly and provides useful information, and we all try to keep it alive. We share music, information etc. This is a really big plus and I doubt you get that anywhere else. I know Alma's team works on making this mentorship better and better with every next one and I'm pretty sure they will work out the little kinks mentioned. I still give it 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the electronic music industry behind the scenes. I wanted to use this review opportunity and again thank Alma and the whole crew for their time and for making this happen. I thought the price was great and definitely worth the investment. I might even take it one more time as I hear that there are always different guest speakers for every new course!

As an aspiring artist manger taking Alma's course is helping to make my dreams a reality! The knowledge and understand that Alma has of the music industry is on a much deeper level than expected and her methodology of teaching is real and honest. Being around her for a little over a month has given me a new way of thinking about the artists I've developing and ways to help navigate their journey. Without giving too much away this course is as much mindset as it technical ways to improve. Being successful in the music industry is easy to learn yet takes many years to master. Spending time on this course was one of my best investments and excited for what is to come.

The mentorship program assisted me in becoming more professional and understanding the business and career!
