This retreat is an invitation to return — not to a destination, but to a state of being. Over four nourishing days in the heart of the ancient forest Söderåsen National Park, we step away from the noise of daily life and into a space where we can listen more deeply to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world around us. We slow down, breathe, and remember: creativity is not something we do. It is who we are.
Creativity here is not framed as an artistic skill, but as a fundamental quality of being present. Whether it shows up in how you lead, listen, parent, connect, or move through the world, this is a space to reconnect with the energy that underlies all aspects of life.
Canoeing, forest hikes, yoga sessions, meditation, shared meals, deep conversations and silent walks among the trees create the rhythm of each day, allowing your nervous system to soften, your mind to settle, and your heart to open.
Guided by Sebastian Mullaert, whose path blends music, meditation, and spiritual inquiry, and supported by a team of experienced facilitators, you’ll explore a landscape of inner and outer connection.
You don’t need any experience in yoga, meditation, or the arts - only a willingness to be curious and open.
Sebastian Mullaert, Sky Akasha and Åsa Mullaert
Sebastian Mullaert is an artist and spiritual practitioner who gently guides others into presence, awareness, and creative flow. Known internationally for his work as a musician, Sebastian now devotes much of his time to teaching — offering tools and frameworks that help others access their own innate clarity and creative power. Drawing on decades of experience with meditation, nature immersion, movement, and improvisation, Sebastian invites participants into a space where silence and expression meet. His approach is rooted in the belief that life itself is the highest form of art, and each moment, when fully lived, becomes a canvas.
Sky Akasha is the founder of Sama Yoga and a lifelong student and teacher of the yogic tradition. With over two decades of full-time teaching experience, his classes combine Hatha Yoga, Qi Gong, mantra and the deep wisdom of Ayurveda and Vedanta. Sky’s teaching style is intuitive, inclusive and deeply honouring of each student’s journey. He brings humour, clarity and compassion to every session — offering a heart-opening practice that nurtures balance, fulfilment and joy. Sama Yoga feels like a flow-based Hatha practice, gently infused with rhythm, softness, and devotional depth.
Together with her partner Sebastian, Åsa has been running Villa Söderåsen since 2016. A certified teacher in Classical Yoga and Meditation, she brings over 25 years of practice enriched by SamaYoga and Vedanta studies. Deeply connected to the forest, Åsa is also training as a Nature Guide and leads Forest Yoga sessions that blend mindful walking, yoga, and joyful movement inspired by her love for music and dance.
Creativity is not the exclusive domain of artists — it is a natural expression of the life force that moves through all of us. It shows up not only in paintings or performances, but in how we speak, relate, move, feel, and make decisions. Creativity is what happens when we are fully alive.
When we pause to listen, move with awareness, breathe deeply, and truly notice what’s around and within us, creativity begins to flow — not as something we must force or invent, but as something already present, waiting to be remembered.
By stepping away from our habitual routines and immersing ourselves in nature, we create the space for this energy to move freely once again. We reconnect with a more intuitive, embodied way of being.
This retreat isn’t about learning how to make art — it’s about living artfully. Through shared practices and gentle guidance, you’ll reconnect with your inner sense of aliveness and meet each moment with curiosity and presence. In this space of openness and ease, creative flow becomes not just a concept, but a lived experience.

In the heart of Söderåsen National Park, we’ll spend full days in deep communion with the land. These nature immersions are spacious and guided — blending hiking, forest bathing, silent walks, and even moments of canoeing on still waters. Sebastian leads these journeys with gentle direction, combining practical awareness tools and poetic creative prompts to help you engage with your surroundings and your inner world. Nature becomes a mirror — offering clarity, calm, and unexpected insight. You’ll have time for silence, solitude, sharing, and simply being. There’s no rush, no agenda. Just the opportunity to slow down and allow the forest, the wind, and the earth to remind you of what’s essential.
Each morning begins in stillness, breath, and gentle movement - practices that awaken the body and quiet the mind. You’ll be guided through Sama Yoga, a flowing, heart-centred practice led by Åsa and Sky, rooted in classical yogic wisdom and informed by Qi Gong, mantra, and mindfulness. These sessions are intuitive and accessible, inviting you to listen deeply to your own rhythm and energy. On select mornings, Sebastian will offer meditation practices that blend silence, awareness, and presence, allowing you to drop beneath the surface of thought and connect with the stillness that fuels all creativity. These rituals are not about performance or precision, they are invitations to return to yourself.
As the sun sets, we gather again as a group, as a temporary community, as individuals unwinding the day. These evening sessions are an opportunity for integration, reflection and playful exploration. Guided by Sebastian, you’ll engage in creative exercises that may involve movement, sound, or intuitive practices. These are not workshops to teach you a technique, they are spaces to feel, express, and be present with whatever arises. Together, we honour the beauty of process over outcome. One evening features a live ambient concert by Sebastian, an intimate sonic journey designed to quiet the mind and expand the heart. Each night offers space for dialogue, questions, and shared insight — deepening the experience and anchoring your return to creative flow.
