Nestled in the magical Kent countryside, this breathtaking manor, once owned by Henry VIII and rumoured to have been a regular retreat for Shakespeare, offers an inspiring setting for deep creative exploration.

This retreat is for anyone looking to nurture their creativity, and discover new tools and strategies which can be integrated in your practice and workflow. This is a unique experience that will reignite your inner spark, reconnect and empower you to embrace your true creative self.

Led by Sebastian Mullaert and Pantha Du Prince, the programme is carefully curated to guide you through a wealth of hands-on workshops, philosphical discussions mixed with nature adventures, sensorial activities, group exercises, meditation and quigong - including full board accommodation and catering.

Sebastian has long championed free-flowing, spontaneous collaboration, drawing from his background in classical music, meditation, and improvisation. His work embodies a fluid and organic approach to live performance, where improvisation and presence take centre stage. With Circle of Live, he has redefined electronic music as a shared, real-time experience, creating unscripted performances that embrace spontaneity and deep artistic connection.


Pantha Du Prince, known for his intricate sonic explorations and immersive sound worlds, has built a unique bridge between electronic, acoustic, and conceptual music. His fascination with natural frequencies, harmonic resonance, and textural depth has led to pioneering work that extends beyond traditional electronic music structures. By incorporating organic elements, from bells and chimes to field recordings and orchestral instrumentation, he continuously expands the language of electronic composition.

By purchasing this event, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to all operational policies outlined below. These policies are in place to ensure the safety, integrity, and enjoyment of the event experience for all participants. Failure to comply with these policies may result in consequences as outlined in the sections below.


1. Sales Policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. Under certain conditions, your spot may be transferred to another participant with prior written approval. Refund requests must be made in writing within 14 days of purchase and at least 7 days before the retreat begins. A €125 admin fee applies, and bank charges are the participant’s responsibility. No refunds for late cancellations or no-shows. Exceptions may be considered in extraordinary cases at our sole discretion. In the unlikely event of a forced cancellation due to factors beyond our control (a force majeure event), a full refund will be issued immediately.


2. Transportation

Please note that the prices listed do not include transportation expenses to the venue location. Participants are responsible for arranging their own return trip to Chilham Castle - Chilham, UK.


3. Alcohol and Drug Policy

Alcoholic beverages are neither provided nor permitted on-site. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the consumption or possession of recreational drugs throughout the duration of the event, on both public and private premises associated with the programme.


4. Safe Space Policy

We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or cultural background. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or intimidation will not be tolerated.

  • What is covered in my retreat purchase?

    Your purchase includes your stay in one of shared or single occupancy rooms for 4 nights, 3 vegetarian daily meals, and the Circle Of Live | In Bloom experience in its entirety. All programming & activities, including nature & meditation as tools for creation, collaborations, the creative process. Please note alcoholic beverages are neither provided nor permitted on site.

  • Is travel included in the price and how to get there?

    You are responsible for your round trip transportation to and from Chilham Castle, however once you arrive, everything is taken care of for you within the scope of the event. The location address is: Chilham Park, Chilham, CT4 8DB, UK The nearest international airports are London Gatwick Airport (LGW), London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and London City Airport (LCY). The venue is conveniently connected with public transport via the Southeastern high-speed train from London St Pancras International to Chilham Station with one charge at Ashford International. The castle is approximately 15 minute walk from Chilham train station and there are local taxi companies that operate in the area. There are free parking spaces available for those travelling by car. Additionally, you will have access to a personal liaison to facilitate your travel needs and answer any questions to make your journey with us as smooth as possible.

  • Is this retreat suitable for me?

    This retreat is originally designed for musicians who have a foundational understanding of music production and performance. While it is open to dedicated beginners, it may not be the right fit for those who are just starting out without any prior experience. That said, the retreat also welcomes creative practitioners from other disciplines such as art, design, architecture, film, and beyond. The principles we explore centered around improvisation, collaboration and creative flow are universally relevant and can offer fresh insights, new tools, and meaningful breakthroughs for artists working across many mediums. Even though the programme is grounded in music, its core focus is on nurturing creativity itself, making it valuable for anyone seeking to reconnect with their creative voice in a supportive and inspiring environment. Please note that all participants must be 18 years of age or older. Due to the nature of the programme and the structure of the estate, we are unable to accommodate minors or allow pets on the property during the retreat.

  • Can I attend only one day from the full programme?

    There is always a noticeable and beautiful magic to be appreciated when everyone participates in the event together, in its entirety, from start to finish. As with every IN BLOOM event, this journey is immersive and we request that everyone arrives and leaves together.

  • Will the programme be in English?

    Yes, the programme will be taught in English language.

  • Can my friend or significant other drop by or join in?

    This is a private event and is accessible only to individual paying customers. If you would like to invite a friend to join us, please invite them to purchase the package.

  • Is it possible to arrive early or stay late after the event?

    Unfortunately it's not possible to extend your stay beyond the days covered by the retreat.

  • What if I have special dietary restrictions?

    We do our best to be conscious of everyone’s needs when it comes to our food & beverage offering in order to provide a range of options. If you have specific dietary restrictions you feel are worth noting, please let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to address them.

  • Do I need to prepare anything and what should I pack?

    Please bring: - Laptop with Ableton live or DAW - Headphones - Small midicontroller (k2 or similar) - Small acoustic instrument, flute, sticks, tambourine, harmonica or similar. - Optimal: small handheld recorder. As the event includes a variety of nature activities, we highly advise that you come well prepared for all the elements and be well equipped for outdoor adventures. Hiking shoes, activewear, rain proof overalls are highly recommended.
